A global authority on electrification, energy efficiency and energy policy, Jan is Professor of Energy and Climate Policy at the University of Oxford, the Leader of the Energy Programme at the Environmental Change Institute and Jackson Senior Research Fellow at Oriel College, Oxford.   He is also a Senior Associate at the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership at the University of Cambridge, Affiliate Faculty at the University of Sussex and  Senior Advisor to the Regulatory Assistance Project (RAP)  

An expert in carbon capture and sustainable fuel processes, Chet has two decades of experience in the energy industry with AspenTech, Technip Energies and Petrofac, spanning process design, project execution, consultancy, R&D, and recently strategy development and business acquisition. He has a PhD from Cranfield University and has authored over 20 peer-reviewed journal articles. He is a Chartered Process Engineer, a Project Management Professional (PMP), and recently acquired an Executive MBA degree from London Business School.   

 An expert on biomethane, Ronald is the Director of Biogassor, a biomethane/gas project developer. In his previous role as co-founder and CTO of Titan Clean Fuels, Ronald pioneered the independent LNG bunkering market globally and developed BioLNG projects for shipping in Europe. Before that he worked for Shell in the global LNG department and in the energy practice of Booz Allen Hamilton. Ronald holds a MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology and an MBA from INSEAD. 

 Maria has built a career at the forefront of the global energy transition in shipping. She led Maersk’s research on future marine fuels and developed a strategic fuel roadmap for a fleet of more than 700 vessels. During her time at Maersk, she also spearheaded cross-industry collaborations and represented the company in international forums on sustainable shipping. Her expertise spans the full spectrum of low-carbon fuel pathways, offering a holistic and independent perspective on risks, opportunities, and market dynamics. Known for combining technical depth with commercial insight, she advises on offtake strategies, investment decisions, and regulatory alignment. In addition to her advisory work, she contributes to academia as a member of DTU’s Industry Advisory Board and serves on the Advisory Board of DTU Energy. 

An expert in the chemicals and refining sectors, Doan was most recently a Senior Vice President at Power2X and a Partner at McKinsey & Company, where she led the Chemicals & Agriculture practice in Southeast Asia. With experience living and serving clients in the US, Europe, and East Asia, Doan brings a global perspective to the task of decarbonizing petrochemicals and specialty chemicals value chains while driving performance improvements and growth. She holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the California Institute of Technology, and also served as the Chief of Staff to the McKinsey Global Managing Partner.
